Everyone has their own story—mine began when I was nine years old. After breaking my elbow three times, an orthopedist told me I would never pitch again. In high school at Monroe-Woodbury, I wasn’t medically cleared as a sophomore and was cut during junior-year tryouts. Instead of giving up, I worked harder, adjusted, and became one of Orange County’s top pitchers as a Senior. With no college offers, I went to Westchester CC, then Orange County CC as a sophomore. That year, I was projected to be drafted, but after being told I needed to get bigger, I made training mistakes that led to a shoulder injury and a 10-mph drop in my fastball. With hard work and the help of Coach Mancuso and George Morris (father of former MLB pitcher Matt Morris), I earned a full athletic scholarship to Division I Seton Hall University. In the years that followed, I faced serious health challenges and went through seven surgeries. These experiences tested me in ways I could never have imagined, but they also strengthened my determination and perspective on life. Through perseverance and support, I was able to overcome those setbacks and achieve my dream of opening my own training facility. These challenges have shaped my program for young players—to help them improve, grow, and reach their goals both on and off the field. I also recognize the need for proper training and support for girls who love the game of softball, which is why I’m building a strong team of dedicated softball coaches to help achieve that vision. After reviewing the overview of my baseball program, please feel free to contact me to discuss the best fit for your son or daughter.
